Using wiki words
Wiki words are used to name and link to pages in the wiki.
How To Do It:
1. When creating a page, join two or more words together; the first letter of each word must be capitalized (we chose "UsingWikiWords" below):
JotSpot will not let you create a page with a page title that already exists.
2. When editing the content of a page, join two or more words together; the first letter of each word must be capitalized.
When the page was saved, JotSpot found these pages elsewhere on the wiki. We know this because the links are colored blue.
3. Wiki words for pages not yet created are called placeholder links. They are highlighted in red (as below).
The question mark attached to the placeholder link reminds us that no page has yet been created. However, the link is active. Clicking the link will open a page with the same Wiki word title. New content can be entered and saved there.

URLs (uniform resource locators) associate together HTML links between documents on the Web. These words, usually though not always underlined, launch the linked Web page when clicked. Don't feel intimidated: your browser manages these assocations for you. All you do is 'click' a link and the browser 'takes you' to the page you seek on the Web.
You can create and navigate between wiki page links the same way. JotSpot assigns each wiki page its own URL - just like any page on the Web.
Wiki words offer a more convenient way to name and link pages within a wiki than on the (external) World Wide Web. When JotSpot 'sees' a Wiki word in your page text, it creates a HTML link between that word and the page that has the same title. If the page doesn't yet exist, the Wiki word is stored as a placeholder link until you are ready to create the page.
