You can make your wiki generally guest-accessible but also make specific pages private.
Here's how:
- In your wiki, go to your Global Settings page (you have to be logged in as "admin" and then you can find it under the "more actions" pull-down menu)
- Change the guest access privileges (Public/Private Wiki Settings) by clicking on the "change settings" button. For example, grant guest users "read" access if you want users to be able to read your wiki without having to log in. Click Save.
- Now go to the specific page you'd like to make private.
- Using the "more actions" pulldown menu, select Page Permissions.
- In the field next to the privilege you wish to revoke (e.g. read, edit, etc) click "choices" and then click the "exclude" button next to guest. Close the window. You should see "-guest" written in the appropriate field. Click "save".
These steps will allow you to make your entire wiki accessible to guest while making private a specified collection of pages.

I am extremely frustrated.
We have a set of donors who would like to view (as guests) our http://openworldfr.jot.com site. Your "help" files in the "PublicPrivateSettingsHelp " section tell me that I should --
>>Yet THERE IS NO GLOBAL SETTINGS PAGE visible ANYWHERE in our Wiki.
To add to the irony, check out our web page: http://openworldfr.jot.com/System/Defaults?form=%2FSystem%2FForms%2FGuestPermissionsForm
And you'll see the "very helpful" suggestion at the bottom of this page...
>>To make your wiki readable by anyone (without having to log in) use the pulldown menu to select "guest users" from the "read all pages" row.
But there is NO drop-down menu visible on this page, either in IE or Firefox browser!
What can we do to create automatic guest viewing rights for our supporters?
Please reply ASAP to markf@openworld.com
Sincerely,
Mark Frazier
