I am really confused by the JotSpot knowledge base answer on the lack of support for Safari - "safari does not allow you to edit HTML in the browser" - since I have found plenty of other sites that let you do WYSIWYG editing that generates HTML. Is this really a Safari limitation or a way to avoid saying "we don't feel like dealing with Safari?"

I am curious about which sites those are? Could you share them?
I can't speak for JotSpot but the new version of Tiger out this week will support rich-text editing in Safari. I'll bet you that support for this in Safari from Jot is not long in coming.

IE for Mac will not provide better results than Safari. Stick with Firefox.
