Can I customize what information is displayed in the Messages/Attachments section on the bottom of a page?

In particular, I'd like to show the email address in the From column for Messages.

For Attachments, I'd like to show the version number and not just have a 'versions' link.

I would also be interested in making the Attachments section take up most of the page as I'm interested in seeing if I can use the jot wiki as a way for multiple people editing a single or set of word/excel/whatever documents. For this use, it would seem that the files are what is important and not any metadata entered on that page.
