Making lists with the WYSIWYG editor
Topic: create lists ordered (by number) and unordered (bulleted) in the WYSIWYG editor.
Note: Switching between editing modes explains how to select the WYSIWYG editor. If it has been defined as your default editor in Preferences, JotSpot will always launch it as your default editor.
For Numbered (Ordered) Lists
1. Click Insert Numbered List in the WYSIWYG editor toolbar:
2. The editor inserts the first number for the list. Each time you press Enter, another number is inserted:
3. You can increase the indent by pressing Tab or by selecting Increase Indent (
) in the Toolbar:
Press the Enter key twice on your keyboard or select Decrease Indent (
) in the Toolbar to back out one level.
4. When you are done making your list, press Enter twice or select Ordered List (
) again.
For Bulleted (Unordered) Lists:
Follow the same instructions for ordered lists, but select Insert Bullet List (
) from the WYSIWYG editor toolbar:
JotSpot has designed the WYSIWYG editor to make it as familiar as possible to those of you who use Microsoft Word or work-alike editors.
