JotSpot support services
Topic: JotSpot seeks to provide support tools within a community-centered wiki environment.
A range of services to make sure you are as productive as you can be using JotSpot, including:
Our goal is to meet all of your support needs by providing excellent online materials with rapid response from JotSpot staff as well as our growing community of users - as described below. If you have an emergency need that cannot be met online, please email us at jotspotsupport at google dot com.
JotSpot support services cover:
Documentation and training
We are developing a complete set of documents, both for end users of JotSpot wikis and developers of JotSpot applications, as well as tutorials and a Knowledge Base. We also provide a FAQ (frequently asked questions). We build-in some purposeful redundancy, so you can find needed information quickly from a variety of different starting-points.
Problem resolution
We are working towards the day when JotSpot has zero defects and you experience zero unexpected results using our software. Meanwhile, we provide you with the tools to report bugs. We use the same bug tracking application that we offer to you in our application gallery. In the spirit of wiki, bug tracking is done 'in the open'. If it has been reported, you can see it. We believe you need visibility in order to protect your investment and plan your Jotspot usage strategy.
Feedback and feature requests
As you use JotSpot, you will develop questions about current features and realize (often before we do) which yet-unreleased features will make you more productive with JotSpot. Your feedback becomes a direct input to our development team.
Collaborative conversation
Despite our best efforts, our documentation, training and communication may sometimes lag the rapid introduction of new (or improved) JotSpot features and applications. Indeed, we look forward to the day when hundreds of applications will be readily available - many contributed by you. We are designing ways for JotSpot users to join JotSpot staff and application developers in a wiki-driven conversation about our platform. Do you have tips to share? Examples that are better than ours? Ways to help users that have been tested in your own teams? We're all ears ... and so are your fellow JotSpot users.
We are totally committed to developing the best support ever offered - not only among wiki vendors but for the entire software industry.
