Version 2, changed by jotspot_jim. 03/23/2005. Show version history
| Summary (short description): | Creat New Topic in Knowledge Base app doesn't appear as new topic |
| OS: | WinXP |
| Browser: | Internet Explorer |
| Bug Description: | When I created a new KB topic called "EstimationProcess?", it treated that as a new page for the WIKI, but did not treat it as a new topic for the KB. I had to change the name of the topic to "ArticlesOnEstimation?" before it appeared appropriately under topics for the KB. |
| Steps to Reproduce: | Enter new topic name "EstimationProcess?" and click on Enter New Topic button. Notice that page to create new topic does NOT allow you to define topic definition and does not say who entered the topic name below. When you complete creating the topic, the page is created, but does not appear as a topic that is listed out in the KB. FYI - I deleted that page already and am using "ArticlesOnEstimation?" as topic instead. |

Dear Grant,
Thank you for your bug report. I am not sure what is happening here. Could it be that the EstimationProcess page was created using the Create Page control and not the Create Topic button?
In any event, I have retested this application in a variety of environments and it appears to be working.
Sincerely, Jim
