Dear Dreamfully,

We apologize for any inconvenience this bug might cause you.  There is a problem with how our encoder handles special characters in attachment and page names preventing users from deleting pages.  Fixing this bug is a top priority and we should have a solution in the near future.

Best regards, Jim

We're having the same problem. Any word on the expected timeframe for fixing this bug? Our work has had to slow down to a crawl.

admin@ubiqwindow said, 04/30/2005:

The problem could be described as such:

When you mix Japanese and Occidental on the same page (with FireFox?), it jams completely the text when viewed in IE.

Remove the Japanese,... well your page is corrupted forever !

JotSpot has fixed the international character problem in our latest release (version 0.9.40)

Special characters (especially "#" and "+" signs) still cause problems for page names and attachment names. This will be fixed in an upcoming release.

Sincerely, Jim
